Elise S2 Air-Conditioning

Air-conditioning will be an option in the Elise S2 eventually but the date has moved more times than I can remember. It will not be practical to retro-fit the system into cars at a later date as the number of changes to the engine, harness, cooling system, dash, etc. make it uneconomic. It is a full heater/cooler system with re-circulation. The pump will absorb approximately 8kW (11PS) at maximum load, which will be noticeable at full throttle. The weight of the system is unknown at present.
