Elise S1 Instrumentation

The main dial pod is a custom made Stack

unit for Lotus Elise. It is practically impossible to repair and very expensive to replace. The unit is very accurate (speed indicated is within 1mph at actual 100mph) but the S2 saw the introduction of blue lighting which combined with new graphics can make the dials hard to read, especially at night. Lotus did promise to look into an orange display (as used in the S1) but I've not heard any more since.

All the switchgear and controls in the S2 are a higher quality bespoke design, most being made from aluminium.
