12th April 2005

Rover are on the brink of folding and is this the end for the humble K-series? Apparently there is a small stock-pile of K-series engines around to maintain Elise production for at least six months but, K-series Elises no longer account for much more than about 10% of Elises currently rolling off the factory line. Came across is an interesting articleRemote site on the K-series recently.

The question is, what will the new base model Elise be and how much? There are talk of a new 140bhp Toyota engine but how heavy is this car going to be?
