The Lotus Elise circuit car development is well underway and it made and appearance at the Spa-Francorchamps. This car is very close to the origianl 340R concept but seems to have been better thought through this time. I'm really pleased that Lotus are making a car like this but I'd like to see something a little more dramatic, more power and a lower entry price. I'm sure this car will have a huge following though.

A new web site has been launched this month. The Lotus Register allows you to register you car and modifications. It covers all Lotus models and not just the Elise.
14th November
A second hand Elise was featured on this weeks 5th Gear TV programme. It is shocking to see just how cheap some of the early S1 Elises are now. This particular car looked in good condition but fairly high mileage (63k miles). It was up for £7250 but sold for £7000.
