Engine Transplant - Ford OptionsOptionsThis page is to be completed.DuratecThe Ford Duratec conversion created by Brian Drought is under development. It currently produces 178bhp at 7270rpm and 147lb-ft of torque and as you can see from his power curve , has a nice flat torque curve. This conversion retains the existing Elise gearbox and remarkable weighs 4kg lighter than the equivalent K-series installation. Further development is expected to deliver more power and an even better torque curve.
