A limited-run Vauxhall VX220 will make its debut at the Scottish Motor Show. Only 100 will be built, all of which will be finished in a new (to the VX220) 'Lightning Yellow' colour scheme. Other visual changes include a black leather interior, black windscreen surround and anthracite alloy wheels. A hard top, colour coded in Lightning Yellow and with a normal option price of £1200, is also fitted as standard. The Lightning Yellow VX220 will be at specialist VX220 retailers across the country in December, priced £24,995 on the road.

With a rumoured 160bhp S2 from Lotus just around the corner, Thielert have announced a 180bhp upgrade coming in at around £5400. This is the first upgrade that I'm aware of claiming to meet the Euro 3 Exhaust Emissions standard.
